About This Prayer
This prayer asks God for protection against evil, temptation, and spiritual dangers. Rather than focusing on fear of evil, it places our confidence in Jesus Christ and asks for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel. Christian protection is ultimately rooted in remaining close to God through faith, prayer, and the sacramental life.
The Prayer
Heavenly Father,
surround me and my family with Your divine protection. Guard our hearts, minds, and souls from evil, temptation, and everything that seeks to lead us away from You.
Lord Jesus Christ, cover us with Your grace and give us strength to resist the enemy. Let Your light drive away all darkness and fill our home with Your peace.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in spiritual battle, and Blessed Mother Mary, pray for us and lead us always closer to your Son.
May we remain steadfast in faith, trusting that no power can separate us from the love of God.
Amen.
