St Peregrine Prayer
The Prayer
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty” and “The Wonder-Worker” because of the many miracles obtained through your intercession.
For years you bore in your own body the pain of cancer and other illness, turning to God when all human power could do no more.
You were granted a vision of Jesus descending from the Cross to heal you, and through this miracle, you were restored to health.
I now place before you those who are afflicted with cancer and other serious diseases, especially:
(Pause to name your intention)
Intercede for them and for all who suffer. May we too experience God’s healing and peace, and may we give Him thanks forever. Amen.
