About

Saint Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) was an Italian teenager known for his deep love of the Eucharist and his skill in using technology to share the Catholic faith. Born in London and raised in Milan, Carlo taught himself computer programming and created a website cataloging Eucharistic miracles around the world. He attended daily Mass, prayed the Rosary, and offered his sufferings from leukemia for the Church and the Pope. His joyful witness showed that holiness is possible in everyday life, even for the young, and that digital tools can be used to spread the Gospel.

Legacy

Carlo Acutis is often called the “patron saint of the internet” for his creative use of technology to evangelize. His incorrupt body rests in the Sanctuary of the Renunciation, where thousands visit to pray and draw inspiration from his life. His legacy challenges Catholics to embrace the sacraments, live with humility, and use modern tools for God’s glory.
“The Eucharist is my highway to heaven.” — Blessed Carlo Acutis
