The Catechism states that the laity, by virtue of their Baptism and Confirmation, have the duty and right to learn the faith, defend it and share it. (CCC 906-907)
This is so necessary and important that pastors cannot be fully effective without the laity playing a significant role in building up the kingdom of God. (CCC 900)
Laypeople are called to transform society via:

👉 Conducting ethical business dealings
👉 Influencing media and culture
