Very Powerful Prayer to Mother Mary for a Miracle
“If you ever feel distressed during your day, call upon Our Lady. Just say this simple prayer: ‘Mary, Mother of Jesus, please be a mother to me now.’ I must admit, this prayer has never failed me.” — St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)

The Prayer
O Most Holy Mary, Mother of God and Queen of Heaven,
I come before you in my great need, with a heart full of trust and love.
You are the refuge of sinners, the comfort of the afflicted,
the help of Christians, and the Mother of divine mercy.
O dearest Mother, you know my heart and all that troubles me.
I place this urgent need before you: (mention your request).
I beg you, Mary, intercede for me with your Divine Son.
By the power of your maternal love,
obtain for me the grace I so desperately seek,
if it be according to the will of God and for the good of my soul.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
Strengthen my faith, increase my hope, and deepen my love,
that I may always trust in your motherly care.
Mary, my Mother, I place all things in your hands.
Be my advocate, my protector, and my comfort in this time of need.
Through you, may my heart be united more closely to Jesus,
who lives and reigns forever and ever.
Amen.
About This Prayer
This powerful prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary is a heartfelt plea for miraculous intervention in times of trial, suffering, or impossible situations. It draws on centuries of Catholic devotion to Mary as the compassionate Mother who intercedes before her Son on behalf of her children. Rooted in trust and humility, this prayer invites believers to place their struggles entirely in her care, echoing the faith of the saints who called her their “surest hope after God.”
It reminds us that miracles are not magic, but divine acts of mercy granted through faith and surrender to God’s will — with Mary’s loving intercession guiding our hearts toward peace and trust.
When To Pray
This prayer is especially fitting during moments of desperation or serious difficulty — illness, financial hardship, broken relationships, or personal crisis. Many Catholics also pray it during novenas to the Blessed Mother, before a Marian image, or while lighting a candle at a shrine such as Our Lady of Lourdes or Our Lady of Guadalupe.
