About This Prayer
This Prayer for Pain Relief is a simple plea for God’s healing mercy during moments of physical, emotional, or chronic pain. It acknowledges Christ’s own suffering and invites His grace to bring comfort, endurance, and peace even when full healing is delayed. The prayer helps unite personal suffering with Christ’s cross while asking for relief and renewed strength.
The Prayer
Lord Jesus,
You carried the weight of suffering and know the pain of the human body and heart.
I come to You now in my weakness and ask for Your healing touch.
Relieve my pain according to Your will, calm my anxious thoughts, and restore my strength.
If my pain must remain for a time, give me patience, peace, and trust in Your presence.
May Your grace be enough for me today, and may I rest in Your loving care.
Amen.

Catholics may also pray it while offering their suffering to God for a specific intention.
