Prayer After Confession

About This Prayer

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a beautiful encounter with God’s mercy. Through confession, Jesus forgives our sins, restores our souls, and welcomes us home with joy. This prayer gives thanks for His mercy and asks for the grace to remain faithful as we continue following Him.

The Prayer

Merciful Jesus, thank You for forgiving my sins and welcoming me back with Your loving heart. Like the Good Shepherd who searched for the lost sheep, You never gave up on me and rejoiced when I returned to You. Fill me with the peace that comes from Your mercy and help me leave my sins behind. Give me the strength to follow You each day with a humble and faithful heart. Keep me close to You, and help me share Your love and forgiveness with others. May my life always reflect the joy of being found by You. Amen.
