About This Prayer
This prayer for a job interview is a way to invite God’s presence into moments of stress and uncertainty. It recognizes that while preparation and effort are important, the ultimate outcome rests in God’s hands. By praying before an interview, Catholics express trust that the Holy Spirit will guide their words and actions, and that God will provide according to His will.
The Prayer
Father,
You are the source of all wisdom and the giver of every gift.
As I prepare for this job interview, calm my heart and guide my words.
Help me to present my skills and experiences with honesty and confidence.
Grant me clarity of mind, peace of spirit, and trust in Your plan.
If this opportunity is right for me, open the door; if not, lead me to the path You have prepared.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
