The Prayer to Know God’s Will is a short but profound prayer composed by St. Francis of Assisi (1181–1226). It is a traditional Catholic prayer for discernment. Known for his humility and love of God, St. Francis sought guidance and clarity from the Lord in all decisions of life. This prayer is traditionally invoked when one is discerning important choices — whether about vocation, work, relationships, or spiritual direction.
